Nada Lake & Snow Lake -- My sister was in town visiting, so my dad, sister and I took our first trip to the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. We went to Nada Lake and Snow Lake the first day, for a "warm up" as my dad called it. It's all uphill for a long, long ways. A goat was blocking the trail between the lakes and struck a few poses before moving on.

Colchuck Lake -- After camping at the Icicle Creek campground, we headed to Colchuck Lake for day two. It was a little more moderate than the previous day. Despite being a Tuesday, there were 20 vehicles at the trailhead -- but we ran into few people as most were probably up higher in the Enchantments.
