| | Another Day On The West Side |
| | | | Ryan and I went for a little walk on Sunday. Saw one bear in the road in the morning, and another later in the afternoon about 50 feet up a tree, stripping bark to get to the cambium layer. Must've been pretty hungry! Also found a nice elk shed, and saw a few elk and several grouse. Unfortunately, my bigger camera lens isn't fast enough to sharply capture things like black bears climbing down trees in dark second growth -- or black bears standing in a road at eight in the morning!
