Is Winter Over Yet? -- I spent a few weekends on the Olympic Peninsula in February. I spent a little time in each of the Hoh, Queets and Quinault drainages, and found a nice waterfall that isn't marked on the USGS quad, but everything seems dull in the rainforest right now. I'll return in a few months when all of the vegetation is vibrant green!
